Winging Cat Rescue
~Kitty RESCUE~ is a licensed Rescue in the State of Georgia.. Our Short term Goals: As a licensed rescue, our mission is to save Cats and Kittens from DeathRow,place in Foster care for adoption,and to transport to No-Kill Shelters or Cat Sanctuaries. In 2006 we rescued over 600 Cats & kittens & as of July 1 2007 we have rescued nearly 350.
Although we are located nationwide, we have focused (but not exclusive to) an Animal Control Pound in Griffin , Georgia. This pound uses inhumane Gas Chambers as their method of "euthanasia".
Our Long Term Goals: The Cat population explosion is of epidemic proportions. We are hoping to increase public awareness of this problem and to establish a low-cost Spay/Neuter Program for area residents of Spalding County.
We rely soley on the generosity of private donations to support Vetting,Boarding and Transport of all rescued Cats.(5013c Staus pending).Please see "our Current Fundraiser" section for the latest Fundraiser.
